Storytelling, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing sessions over the summer

Over the summer, Natasha worked with Staffordshire Libraries to deliver storytelling, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing sessions across nine libraries, engaging varied community audiences and adapting each session to different venues and groups.

What children and families take away

  • Greater awareness of thoughts and how they can influence feelings
  • Simple breathing, grounding and visualisation tools for overwhelming moments
  • Kinder and more encouraging self-talk that supports confidence
  • Greater ability to let difficult thoughts pass without becoming consumed by them
  • Consistent wellbeing tools that parents and professionals can reinforce in everyday settings
  • More resilience when facing change, worries or challenges
