Who I am

This website is run by Natasha Joy Brady, trading as Sparkling Leaf. If you have any questions about your information, email me at hello@sparklingleaf.co.uk.

When you send a message

When you use the contact form I get your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. It arrives as an email to me, and the person who looks after the website gets a copy so they can spot if the form ever stops working. Nothing you send is kept on the website itself.

I only use your details to reply to you and to arrange any work we agree, and I keep them for as long as that takes. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check a real person is sending it rather than a spam bot, and the email is sent through a service called Postmark.

Cookies and analytics

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so I know what’s useful. It sets cookies starting with _ga, which last up to two years. It’s never used for advertising. If you click Reject, Google Analytics doesn’t load at all.

The site also remembers which button you clicked in your browser, so it doesn’t ask you again on every page.

Other things worth knowing

• The fonts on this site come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google sees your IP address when it does.
• Like every website, the server keeps a record of the pages requested and the IP address they were requested from. These records are deleted after 14 days.
• Some of the services above are based in the US. They use the legal safeguards UK law requires for sending information abroad.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Just email hello@sparklingleaf.co.uk. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
